Hello everyone! I should I say Namaste! My name is Katarina Perkins but almost everyone calls me Kat for short. Either one is fine with me. I was born in Portland, Oregon but I have been living in good ol’ Arizona since I was three. I am in my second year in a community college and I hope to attend the University of Arizona next fall where I will study Psychology with an emphasis of Pre-Med. I am a total nerd in the fact that I really enjoy school and all of the learning that goes along with it. There is always something new to learn. Another thing I really enjoy doing is debating! I enjoy politics and love to discuss other’s view points. I come from a large family so debating is an everyday thing it feels like. I am one of 9 kids so you have to make your opinion known or else no one may never know! haha! I love my family very much! I became a follower of God when I was 16 years old. I was raised in a home that went to church but everything didn’t really connect until I was 16 or so. And ever since then I haven’t stopped asking questions and learning 🙂 A few other things about me is that I have a love for horses! I have been all over the country for Horse Shows. I think they are amazing animals with so much personality. I also love music, reading, being outdoors and laughing till you cry.
I am very excited about this trip and can’t wait to meet all of you! I’m ready to have God use me to bring glory to his name!
